Women’s Cross Country Competes at Hofstra Invitational

BETHPAGE, N.Y. – On Saturday, the United States Merchant Marine Academy women’s cross country squad competed at the Hofstra Invitational at Bethpage State Park in Bethpage, N.Y. Kings Point as a team finished in fourth place amongst Division III teams and 12th overall. This meet marks the first one for USMMA with new head coach Gregory Lott at the helm.  

Women’s Cross Country Selected to Finish Eighth in the Landmark

MADISON, N.J. – On Monday, the Landmark Conference office released its preseason poll for women’s cross country and the United States Merchant Marine Academy was slotted eighth in the league amassing 21 points. The 2010 season will mark the program’s first under the guidance of new head coach Gregory Lott.  

Women's Cross Country Runs At Landmark Championships

The United States Merchant Marine Academy women's cross country team competed at the Landmark Conference Championships at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. The women’s were unable to record a team score as there team was incomplete due to injury and sea year. Senior Maryrose Rooney led the Lady Mariners in the 6K in 27:29.

Women's Cross Country Finished 8th At CTC Championships

The United States Merchant Marine Academy Women's Cross Country placed 8th out of 12 teams at the CTC Championships in Pomona, NJ on Saturday, the first of three conference championship meets.

Women's Cross Country Take 26th Place

The United States Merchant Marine Academy Women's Cross Country placed 26th overall out of 32 teams at the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, PA on Friday. The team was again led by Freshman Gretchen Holoubek in the 6K at 25:16.

Mariners Finish 14th (15) At Connecticut Invitational

The United States Merchant Marine Academy Women's Cross Country finished strong at the Connecticut College Invitational this Saturday. The team took 14th place out of 15 teams.  Freshman Gretchen Holoubek led the way for the women running the 6k with a time of 25:29 and finished 67th overall.
