Hired in September of 2008, Walsh enters her second season as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Walsh came to the Academy after spending two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Rider University.

As a graduate assistant at Rider, Walsh worked as a certified athletic trainer for all of the universities’ 20 Division I athletics teams. Her primary responsibilities were women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, indoor track and field and baseball.

While at Rowan, Walsh was a student athletic trainer. She was also a member of the swim team.

Walsh received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Exercise Science from Rowan University in 2006 and a Masters of Business Administration from Rider University in 2008.

Walsh currently resides in Rockville Centre, N.Y.
